Radar Level Monitoring System
Cedar Radar Level Monitoring Systems provide continuous, non-contact level measurement for liquids, powders, granules, and bulk solids stored in tanks, silos, bins, and process vessels. Using advanced FMCW radar technology, the system delivers highly accurate level measurement regardless of dust, vapor, humidity, pressure, or temperature, allowing operators to monitor inventory, automate processes, and prevent overfilling or material shortages.

Product Overview
Cedar Radar Level Monitoring Systems provide continuous, maintenance-free level measurement without any contact with the stored material. Unlike mechanical sensors, floats, or rotary switches, radar technology measures the distance between the sensor and the material surface using microwave signals, ensuring stable readings even in dusty silos, steam-filled tanks, high-temperature vessels, or harsh industrial environments.
The system is suitable for virtually every storage application, from food ingredients and grain silos to chemicals, cement, plastics, liquids, and pharmaceutical materials.
Beyond supplying the radar sensor, Cedar delivers a complete monitoring solution including installation support, control box, and industrial HMI touchscreen.

FAQs
What is a Radar Level Monitoring System?
A Radar Level Monitoring System continuously measures the level of liquids or bulk solids without making physical contact with the material.
What materials can radar sensors measure?
Liquids, powders, granules, pellets, grains, chemicals, cement, plastics, food ingredients, and many other bulk materials.
How does radar measurement work?
The sensor transmits microwave signals toward the material surface and measures the reflected signal to accurately determine the distance and level.
Can radar measure through dust or steam?
Yes. FMCW radar technology provides reliable measurement even in dusty silos, vapor-filled tanks, and challenging industrial environments.
Can one system monitor multiple silos?
Yes. Multiple radar sensors can be connected to a centralized HMI or software platform for monitoring an entire facility.
Does Cedar provide monitoring software?
Yes. Cedar supplies complete remote monitoring on an industrial touchscreen display, which can be mounted at a distance of up to 1 Km from the radar sensor/tank.
